Bio:

Born the second son of a prosperous miller, Tarquin Certh has just risen to knighthood under Lord Warden Faren Markelhay, Keeper of Fallcrest. The young knight had spent barely a year in the Fallcrest Guard before advancing in rank and swearing a solemn vow to the protection of Fallcrest and the Nentir Vale.

While his duties in Fallcrest are by the will of Lord Markelhay, a greater oath has been pledged to the goddess Avandra, the Mistress of Change, Freedom, Travel and Adventure. It is her divine grace and glory that Tarquin ultimately answers to, and it is under her tenants and spirit that he finds his own life’s passion.

Standing just over six feet tall, Tarquin has the solid build of his human father and the chiseled facial structure and vibrant blue eyes of his elven mother. In his early twenties, most people native to Fallcrest have known him as the good-natured farmers son who spent much of his free time at Moonsong temple and the charities it offered, rather than a sworn sword of the town watch.
